We are Barefoot Hearts — a living, free, and democratic educational project in the magical forest of Turís, Valencia. Every day, our small community depends on a safe, reliable link between the Valencia area and the school. We are looking for a School Bus Driver who can be that link: someone responsible, attentive, and at ease with both the road and technology.

The role

• Drive our 9-seat urban-style school bus on a fixed route Monday to Friday, from the Valencia area to Turís (and return), with designated stops along the way.
• The route includes fixed steps/stations (e.g. set pick-up and drop-off points in the Valencia area and at the school). You will follow the same schedule and stops each day so families can rely on consistent times and locations.
• As the driver, you will record each journey via our mobile app: attendance at each stop, pick-up and drop-off of each child (and any kit or belongings), and any maintenance or safety issues with the bus. This keeps the school and families informed and helps us maintain the vehicle and the route.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a professional or regular driver and a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle.
• Is proficient with mobile applications: the driver role requires daily use of our app to log attendance, pick-ups and drop-offs, and any bus-related incidents or maintenance needs.
• Is punctual, reliable, and safety-minded, and at ease with children and families at the stops.
• Is available Monday to Friday for the full school run (Valencia area ↔ Turís).
