We are Barefoot Hearts — a living, free, and democratic educational project and animal sanctuary in the forest of Turís, Valencia. Here, children aged 3–12 learn through free play, democratic circles, and connection with nature and our sanctuary. We are growing and want to reach more families and around 100 children at the school.
We are looking for a Marketing & Growth Lead to join our team. You will own our outreach strategy, lead generation, and user understanding so we can attract the right families, measure progress, and hit our growth goals with clarity and heart.

What you will do
Strategy & execution
- Define and execute a short-term and long-term marketing and growth strategy aligned with our goal of more leads and reaching around 100 children at the school.
- Own and grow our presence on social networks (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and others you recommend), with consistent content, community management, and measurable outcomes.
- Show visible progress: regular reporting on leads, reach, engagement, and funnel metrics so the team and stakeholders see how we are performing.
User research & analytics
- Lead UX and marketing research so we understand how families find us, use our app and website, and decide to enroll.
- Deliver qualitative insights (interviews, surveys, feedback) and quantitative analysis (traffic, conversions, funnels, retention) to guide decisions.
- Define, document, and refine personas (e.g. alternative-education seekers, remote-working parents, health-conscious families) and ensure messaging and channels speak to them.
Funnel & performance
- Define and analyse our marketing funnel from awareness → interest → consideration → enrollment (and events), and recommend improvements.
- Work with existing materials (e.g. persona briefs, UTM strategy, landing and app flows) and improve them based on data and research.
- Propose and implement tests (copy, creatives, channels, CTAs) to improve lead quality and conversion.
We are looking for someone who
- Is highly proficient with social networks: content planning, community management, paid and organic tactics, and platform-specific best practices.
- Can design and execute short- and long-term strategies and demonstrate progress with clear metrics and reports.
- Has experience in UX or marketing research: running interviews, surveys, and quantitative analysis (e.g. analytics, funnel reporting).
- Can define and analyse personas and map and optimise a marketing funnel from first touch to enrollment.
- Communicates clearly in English and Spanish (written and spoken); fluency in both is important for our bilingual community.
- Aligns with democratic, heart-centered education.
- Is self-driven, organised, and able to work in a small team with limited resources while delivering measurable impact.
